The timbered great room provides hallmark two story views to the back pasture, where the homeowners can keep an eye on their cattle. The drywalled ceilings beautifully highlight each timber both in the great room and in the warm kitchen space nearby. Rich stain on each timber provides added contrast paired with white walls and ceilings. The homeowners also chose to timber frame their master bedroom for additional warmth, dimension, and lasting charm.
